We are pleased to announce that the second TACMRS reading group (on Dante, medieval cities, and his Florence) will be held at National Cheng Kung University (Tainan, Taiwan) on May 25, 2024. Those who are interested are very welcome to join us.

We are privileged to invite Dr. Brian Reynolds from the Department of Italian Literature, Fu-jen Catholic University to lead the reading session. Through Dante’s unique worldview, we will explore the medieval urban culture and share mortals’ yearning to reach the city of God.

*This reading session at NCKU welcomes on-site and online participation. Reading materials and a link to an online forum will be furnished following successful registration. Any questions and discussion points related to the topic are welcome.

*The guided reading by Dr. Reynolds will be conducted in English, followed by a discussion in both English and Chinese (Interpretation service is provided). All the questions and discussion points can be expressed in English or Chinese.
